What to do if the caseload drops….

Hello all,

Just another note to keep you updated on travel therapy information, this week’s tip:  what to do when the caseload isn’t at its fullest..  Most clients will not let us bill for time that the therapist isn’t in the facility/building/home, unless previously agreed to (which is rare).  So in order for you to get your 40 hours, it’s sometimes necessary to stay in the facility even if you don’t have patients.  Ask for any paperwork/billing that needs to be done, straighten up your office area, even “hang out” with your patients, whatever keeps you relatively busy so that we can get you your 40 hours.   If things start to drop with your hours, or if they ask you to head home early, let your recruiter know ASAP so we can help with anything we can on our side.  In the end, it keeps the contracts on the up and up and keeps you from getting dinged from any short hours.

Until next time, safe travels!
