Pittsburgh is famously known as the “Steel City” or “The City of Bridges”. The names were due to the number of steel plants that populated the city as well as the number of bridges. Listed by Forbes Magazine as the 10th cleanest city, Pittsburgh is now home to a large fashion, education, and healthcare industry thus making it ideal for Travel Therapy Jobs.
There is plenty of history in Pittsburgh and lots to do! The city is home to 3 professional sports teams; the Penguins (NHL), Steelers (NFL), and the Pirates (MLB). All three hold historical significance due to the amount of great players that were members of the team. There are several museums and new stadiums that have been built in the area. So, when you’re taking time off from your Travel Therapy Jobs, feel free to catch a Steelers game at Heinz Field or Pirates game at the new PNC Park. It’s pretty affordable and a great experience.
